Hello, my name is Prem Bahadur Thapa, and I am a Plumber in Kathmandu. I was born in Nuwakot with happy childhood memories and in a small, supportive family.
As a child, I was very disobedient, I would bunk school to meet up with my friends. I never liked studying or following rules. One day my parents found out about my mischiefs and I got the beating of a lifetime. The beating turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I started studying and got good grades.
I studied till Class 10 in Nuwakot, then I moved to Kathmandu for higher education where I completed my Bachelors in Arts. I aspired to become a police officer in a foreign country like Dubai, but due to some unfortunate circumstances the plan was unsuccessful.
My uncle was concerned about my future and wanted me to try other fields. I learned plumbing and electrical skills from Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). I liked plumbing because the issues related to plumbing were interesting, and I liked solving them.
I have worked in different organizations, more than 30, but I never stayed for more than 6 months. It was never about money for me, I would find alternate ways to earn. But, when I joined Sajilo Sewa, it was different. During my interview in Sajilo Sewa , I said that I would not stay for long, but now it has almost been 3 years with Sajilo and I like it here.
Even though I had learned technical skills of plumbing, I did not have proper tools when I joined SMS. I used to borrow tools from other technicians. I still remember the first paycheck I received from Sajilo, I bought a wrench and a hammer.
After joining Sajilo Sewa, I wanted to become the best technician of Sajilo Sewa. Once I cycled to Chandragiri to solve a minor plumbing issue. My dedication towards the company was not overlooked, I was soon recruited full time for AMC clients by Sajilo Sewa.
Sajilo Marmat Sewa and I have been together through the ups and downs. I prioritize the bond we share more than the money. I am sure that Sajilo Marmat Sewa will excel much further and at a rapid pace.
